Mattel needed to make sure its product details were up to date online, but its brands appeared across multiple European sites featuring many different languages and page designs.
Harness web services to seamlessly distribute updated content to the individual local brand websites. We created a skinnable content management system linked to a backend product database. The CMS was designed to be easily maintained by the Mattel team with an HTML interface and a Flash version.
From a single entry point local brand managers can instantly update details of 1800 products appearing across 64 European websites in 30 languages. As a result the company has eliminated unplanned downtime due to updates.
