As part of International Women’s Day 2023, we have supported local initiative Women’s Work Lab with a review of their brand identity and messaging. Women's Work Lab is a growing Bristol-based social enterprise helping unemployed mums back into the workplace.
Our challenge was to help bring meaning to their existing bee and hive references whilst defining a brand platform that championed the mums and communicated the benefits for the employers and grant providers they work with.
The queen bee icon becomes a relatable source of inspiration for the mums that Women’s Work Lab supports, as they progress on their individual journeys. It’s a challenging world for a bee, and yet they can thrive if given the right environment to. This connection between the bee and the company is also seen within the messaging and bespoke honey logotype.
We provided Women’s Work Lab with a revised messaging platform, brand identity, supporting brand guide, workbook, and editable social media templates to communicate their mission and empower more women with the confidence to succeed.
